Do you enjoy working as part of a team? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Repair and Maintenance (R&M) Store Person in the Trowbridge depot. You will work in the Network Utilities team, ensuring reliable water supply to 1.4 million customers. This role will be based in Wiltshire, so it is best suited for candidates living in the surrounding area, although applicants from further away will also be considered.
Responsibilities
* Service gangs with fittings and materials on a daily basis.
* Maintain and stock store inventory.
* Use company computer systems and ordering software to manage supplies.
* Control materials, plant, and equipment within the depot.
* Work hygienically and safely while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Order, collect, and deliver materials/fittings where required.
* Manage skips, recycling, and depot waste transfer practices.
* Place no‑waiting cones on site daily for future work.
* Take a flexible approach to working hours and be available for out‑of‑hours work if required.
Qualifications
* Be well‑organised, customer‑focused, and a great team player.
* Have experience in pipework and pipe fittings.
* Have a current Street Works ticket and a Health and Safety certificate; full training can be provided if not.
* Hold a valid UK driving licence.
* Maintain a positive and can‑do attitude.
