🚛 Cement Mixer Driver – Temp to Perm

💰 £14.05 ph + Overtime + Daily Cleaning Bonus
We’re currently recruiting for a Cement Mixer Driver to join a busy aggregates and construction materials supplier just outside Inverness. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.
The Role:
As a Cement Mixer Driver, your main duties will include:
1. Driving and operating a Class 2 cement mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to sites
2. Ensuring safe and timely delivery of materials to various local locations
3. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
4. Loading and unloading the mixer safely and efficiently
5. Cleaning the mixer drum and vehicle at the end of each shift (daily cleaning payment provided)
6. Communicating with site staff and dispatch teams to ensure smooth delivery operations
7. Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
What We Offer:
8. Immediate start available
9. Monday to Friday working pattern
10. Flexible start times required due to the nature of the work
11. Occasional Saturday overtime
12. Training can be provided
13. PAYE rates: £14.05 per hour
14. Overtime between 8 – 12 hours worked, paid at x 1.5
15. Overtime between 12 – 15 hours worked, paid at x 2
16. Daily cleaning payment in addition to hourly rate

19. Overtime paid after 8.5 hours per day
20. Daily cleaning payment in addition to hourly rate
21. Local work – home every night
What We’re Looking For:
22. Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
23. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
24. Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR, TT or IN convictions)
25. Previous experience with mixer or aggregates work is desirable but not essential
26. A flexible and reliable approach to start times and duties
27. Good communication and customer service skills
