We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Reception Supervisor to leadour administration team, overseeing all reception duties run smoothly andefficiently in our busy healthcare practice.

You will be responsible for ensuring a welcomingand professional environment for both patients and staff. Your tasks willinclude managing the reception team, coordinating daily operational activities,and making certain all reception duties are performed according to establishedprocedures and within required timeframes.We welcome applications fromcandidates with proven experience in team management and a passion fordelivering exceptional service.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in managing and leading teamseffectively.

Excellent leadership abilities, with a flexibleand proactive approach to resolving challenges effectively.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experienced in performance management, includingconducting appraisals and handling employee relations effectively.

Ability to multitask and maintaining highstandards of service under pressure.

Committed to maintaining confidentiality andadhering to data protection standards.


Main duties of the job

TeamLeadership: Plan the reception teams rota, manage annual leave andsickness cover, and make sure reception is always properly staffed.

StaffDevelopment: Support and guide your team by setting clear goals,carrying out performance reviews, and helping everyone complete requiredtraining.

OperationalEfficiency: Keep reception running smoothly by managing daily tasks,tracking performance, and ensuring patient registration and record transfersare completed accurately and on time.

ComplaintHandling: Work alongside the Management Team to handle and resolve anypatient concerns about reception services.

Training& Induction: Coordinate the introduction and training of newreception staff to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to performtheir roles effectively.

Administration Support: Responsiblefor ensuring accurate documentation, managing confidential information, andassisting with other administrative duties as and when required.

* Experience of working in a GP practice
