Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - September Start (Temp to Perm)
Location: Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £90 - £100 Per Day
We are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the NG17 area. This school is part of the local community and caters to children aged 3-11. The school prides itself on a nurturing, child-centred ethos where every pupil is valued. They deliver a rich, creative curriculum in inspiring learning environments and place strong emphasis on personalised support and growth.
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils in lessons to help them access the curriculum according to their individual needs
* Assisting with personal care when necessary
* Implementing communication aids and strategies to support pupil expression
* Encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence
* Liaising and collaborating effectively with teachers, TA colleagues, and other professionals
Requirements / Qualifications
* Has experience working with children, ideally with SEN or additional needs (in a school, care, or youth setting)
* Is patient, flexible, and resilient
* Can develop strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Shows initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to learn
