Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Petrol Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the petrolstation. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fuel and convenience store purchases.
* Operate fuel pumps and ensure that all safety protocols are followed during refuelling.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the station, including forecourt, shop area, and restrooms.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper change is given.
* Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
* Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products available at the station.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
* Report any issues or maintenance needs to management promptly.
* Manage bookings for workshop and MOT's
Skills
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with customers and team members.
* Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions accurately.
* Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
* Organisational skills to maintain a tidy work environment and manage stock efficiently.
* Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
