Jenny Lind Outpatients is a busy outpatients area looking after patients from all medical and surgical specialties. Patients attend for both assessment as well as investigations, procedures and treatments. We are looking for someone to lead a team of HCA's and support with all the elements of care we provide.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work with our team of Health Care support workers to manage and deliver care to patients attending as an outpatient. Outpatients is a busy, dynamic area so we are looking for someone who is highly organised and is able to adjust and adapt to changing situations. Also, a registered member of the team to oversee the care provided by our dedicated team of health care support workers.
Patients can be seen for both assessment as well as procedures, investigations and treatment and we are looking for a Staff Nurse who will be able to support our teams in carrying these out. We would offer all additional relevant training required to extend their knowledge and skills to care of our patients.
Jenny Lind Children's Hospital also comprises of our Children's ED, Children's Assessment Unit, Children's Day ward, NICU and Outpatients. As a Children's hospital within a larger University Trust we work closely with our medical colleagues and wider MDT. We would like candidates to have a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in Paediatrics.
This opportunity would allow the successful candidate to develop clinical and leadership skills.

* Post registration qualification relevant to the clinical area
