As part of the Design Team, the Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for planning, leading and delivering the process design of water and wastewater treatment projects for various clients. This will be a permanent role with hybrid working based out of Ilkeston.
Reporting to: Regional Design Manager
Liaising with: Design Team and Delivery Team
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Role Purpose:
They will oversee technical projects, manage teams, and ensure that the solutions provided meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client needs. The role involves collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of innovative and sustainable water treatment solutions
Role Summary:
Lead the process design, development, and implementation of water and wastewater treatment projects.
Develop process flow diagrams, mass balances, and process unit sizing to optimise treatment plant performance.
Develop P&IDs, process control philosophies, hydraulics calculations (gravity & pumped) to feed into design specifications and HAZOP studies.
Represent the design team in HAZOP studies and design reviews with both internal and external stakeholders.
