A professional family are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and proactive Part-Time Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their home in a peaceful village setting. The family currently consists of the Principal, her husband (who travels frequently for work), and their daughter who will be six years old in September, when the family is also expecting a new baby. The household includes a friendly Cockapoo, so the successful candidate must be comfortable around dogs. This is a warm, welcoming family home, and the Principals are seeking a committed professional who can become a long-term, valued member of the household.
The successful candidate will have a diverse range of responsibilities, from maintaining a clean and organised home to assisting with grocery shopping and light meal preparation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in general housekeeping duties, proactive in their approach, and happy to work independently within a family environment.

Duties Include:
* General housekeeping and cleaning throughout the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming home environment across two floors (four bedrooms, one bathroom, one en-suite, open-plan kitchen/living/dining, office, and playroom)
* Laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and organising clothing and linens
* Light meal preparation for the family
* Grocery shopping and ensuring the household is well stocked
* Organising and restocking household supplies as required
* General tidying and staying on top of day-to-day household tasks
Minimal Requirements:
* Three or more years of private Housekeeper experience
* Two excellent, checkable verbal references
* Fluent English
* Valid UK work permit
* Enhanced DBS (required due to the presence of children in the household)
* Driving licence and own vehicle (required for commute to village location)
* Dog-friendly and comfortable around pets
