You will be responsible for planning print production for over 1000 new books each year as well as the management of backlist and paperback re-releases.
Responsibilities
* Find supply solutions to deliver high‑quality product on time with reference to budgetary and sustainability targets.
* Work closely with teams across the Academic department to ensure the best experience for customers.
* Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance is maintained.
* Contribute to the continuing development of the team, growing your knowledge base and driving efficiency.
* Have demonstrable experience working with SAP or another ERP system to raise purchase orders and configure data.
* Be confident using large data sets to identify problems and provide solutions.
* Demonstrate an assured, collaborative communication style and be prepared to bring competing perspectives together to find compromise.
This position is classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to spend 40‑60% of their time collaborating and connecting face‑to‑face at their dedicated location. Other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including adjustments due to a disability or long‑term health condition.
Qualifications
Experience in print manufacture and a strong background in project planning. Ability to work independently while being open to supporting colleagues. Confidence in using large data sets and collaborating across teams.
