Receptionist / Driver – Mid & South Essex Out of Hours
Must hold a full, clean, manual UK driving license.

This Role Is An Exciting Blend Of Responsibilities
* Receptionist duties: Welcoming patients with compassion and ensure confidentiality.
* Handling a variety of patient needs, including appointment booking, comfort calls, and dealing with sensitive situations.
* You’ll need excellent empathy and strong IT skills to navigate systems while offering support, especially in moments of distress.
* Ensuring 2 x way communication with the call centres to ensure efficient operations.
* Accurate record keeping
* Driver duties: Conduct vehicle and equipment checks and safely transport clinicians to home visits where they’ll provide essential care. You may also be accompanying clinicians into patient homes.
* Ensuring correct use of equipment and vehicles at all times.

We are Integrated Care 24 (IC24), the leading not for profit Social Enterprise providing innovative and patient focused primary care services. IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care, and secondary care support services.
Location Mid & South Essex (Broomfield, Southend, Thurrock and Basildon). As part of your normal responsibilities, you could be required to work at any of these locations when required.
Hours Available: This is an Out of Hours Service-the shifts are mainly midnight to 8am and anytime on the weekends.
You must be able to drive both Automatic and Manual vehicles as our IC24 cars are a mixture of both!.
