Economic Incentives Manager.
Location. Manchester- London – Hybrid.

Role.
Smart DCC is looking for a talented and experienced Economic Incentives Manager who will will report to the Head of Economic Incentives and lead on a range of activities across DCC’s incentive frameworks. As a regulated monopoly, DCC is subject to a number of incentive mechanisms set by Government and the regulator, Ofgem.
What will you be doing?
* Lead on the development of OPR progress reports .
* Lead on the preparation and circulation of the monthly economic incentives’ dashboard.
* Leading on the development of consultation responses relating to economic incentives.
* Manage/develop the internal DCC economic incentives model.
* Support on the development of, and provide ongoing to support to the business on
* reporting against, specific incentive regimes e.g. OPR, SIR, ECoS, CH&N etc.
* Support in the development of price control submissions relating to all incentive regimes.
* Become the internal point of contact on specific incentive regimes.
* Build effective relationships across DCC to raise awareness of economic incentives.
What we are looking for.
Skills and Experiences – essential.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills – in particular to tailor communications to explain complex issues concisely and clearly.
* Ability to lead projects to success.
* Highly analytical and numerate.
* Appetite for solving problems.
* Highly organised
* Able to manage and prioritise time and workload and adapt to changing priorities.
* Appetite to learn.
Skills and Experiences – desirable
Degree in economics or a related subject.
Experience of working within a regulated sector, such as telecoms or energy
Experience of working in regulatory economic incentives / economic regulation / price control.
