Full Time SEND Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)
Northumberland, Ponteland area
£450 - £500.00 per week (depending on salary and experience)

The School and Role
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school in Ponteland, Northumberland. Working as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will be supporting in a large class offering one to one support to a mix of pupils with SEND. When the one to one support isn’t required the Teaching Assistant will offer general class room support within the SEND unit. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally within Year 4 however not essential.
2. Experience of delivering intervention support
3. Experience of working with pupils with SEND
4. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
5. An ability to work as part of a team
