Your role:
As a Team Leader at Mayfield Centre of Excellence, you will lead a large team within a supported living environment for individuals with Autism and learning disabilities.
You will be responsible for the daily operations, ensuring person centred support plans are implemented effectively for residents. This includes creating plans through an asset-based approach, focusing on individual’s unique gifts, goals and aspirations.
You will manage a diverse workforce, providing training, guidance and support to ensure high quality care.
Mayfield house is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and you will ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
About you:
You will have an understanding and significant experience of working in a Positive Behavioural Support environment, understanding the importance of recording behaviours to inform and develop individuals personalised plans to inform effective behaviour management strategies.
Experience of effectively implementing systems and processes that will support continues improvement of the service.
You should exhibit strong empathy, patience and excellent communication skills to connect with residents and their carers.
You should have leadership experience, demonstrating decisiveness, and the ability to motivate a large team.
You should be positive, accountable, courageous and kind.
