Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs Location: Hillingdon, West London Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary: £95 - £125 per day (PAYE, dependent on experience) Tradewind Recruitment is seeking compassionate, reliable SEND Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEND school in Hillingdon, supporting pupils with a range of severe and complex learning needs. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to help pupils access education, develop independence and feel valued every day. The Role: Support pupils with severe and complex learning needs across EYFS-KS4 Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding and hygiene routines Assist with physical support, mobility and hoisting (training provided if required) Deliver engaging, sensory-based learning activities Promote communication, social skills and emotional wellbeing Maintain a calm, consistent and encouraging classroom approach About You: Experience supporting pupils with complex needs, medical needs or SEND Confident and comfortable providing personal care Patient, nurturing and resilient with a positive attitude Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to apply) Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
