Applicants will work to support pupils who have severe and complex learning difficulties aged between 2 years -19 years of age. They should be reliable, resilient and flexible and work well as part of a team.
All applicants should possess:-
1. Experience of children / young people with special educational needs;
2. Experience in attending to personal care needs of children and young adults;
3. Ability to support pupil’s emotional wellbeing / development;
4. The ability to follow instruction and have a desire to further their professional development;
5. Enthusiasm and a conscientious approach;
6. The ability to embrace change and contribute to school development

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all successful applicants, which will include an Enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Registration with the Education Workforce Council is required for this post.
