ABOUT THE ROLE: Translate requirements into robust hardware designs, including architecture, schematics, PCB layout oversight, component selection, and protection, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability throughout the design lifecycle. Lead prototype builds, board bring-up, debugging, testing, validation, and production readiness, while applying DFM/DFA principles, supporting suppliers, and managing component risks. Act as the technical authority for hardware decisions, design reviews, and issue resolution; coordinate R&D activities, manage priorities and risks, remove delivery blockers, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality.
