The Birth to Settled Adulthood (B2SA) Service offers a unique opportunity to be part of an integrated approach that provides essential social care advice, information, and support to individuals aged 0-25. Our mission is to enhance the experiences and outcomes for these children, young people, and their families, paving the way for a smooth transition into settled adulthood. About the Service: The B2SA Service is a collaborative initiative within the Children’s Directorate, working seamlessly across both Children’s and Adult’s Directorates through a matrix management approach. Our phased strategy emphasizes integration and cooperation: - Phase 1: Focuses on unifying efforts across Children’s and Adult’s Directorates. - Phase 2: Aims to strengthen partnerships with health services, ensuring a cohesive experience for families. We are looking for leaders with a vision for change, capable of embedding innovative practices and driving cultural transformation across the Integrated Care System. We are seeking a dedicated Team Manager for our Chesil locality team. As a Team Manager, you will oversee a team of six to eight staff members, specializing in supporting disabled children and young people. Your role will include: - ensuring the safety and well-being of children. - amplifying the voices of young individuals and responding to their needs. - providing critical support to families, including facilitating Short Breaks. - collaborating with transition teams, Adult services, and SEND to strategically plan for adult life. - delivering high-quality reflective supervision to your team, with reciprocal support from Service Managers. This post requires significant travel. You must have a vehicle (or transport we deem suitable) available for use as needed.
