Senior Phlebotomist - North sector – Older Peoples Services
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. The Phlebotomy Department at Glasgow Royal Infirmary is seeking a motivated and reliable Phlebotomist to join our weekday team.
Responsibilities
* Perform high-quality venepuncture in a fast-paced clinical environment.
* Deliver safe and efficient patient care as part of a supportive team.
* Maintain clear and professional communication with patients and colleagues.
* Uphold best practices in infection control and safety at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum standard grade level education.
* Phlebotomy experience is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
