Our client, a well-established joinery company based in St Ives, is looking for an experienced professional to join their talented workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm
As a Bench Joiner/Carpenter, you’ll take pride in creating one-of-a-kind joinery pieces from start to finish. You’ll be working in a modern, well-equipped workshop where every day brings a new challenge. Your work will include:

Cutting and preparing timber to precise specifications
*
Manufacturing and assembling bespoke joinery ready for on-site installation
*
Reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately
*
Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
*
Adapting designs to meet client requirements
*
Monitoring stock levels and reporting material defects
To be successful in this Bench Joiner role, you’ll have:

Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or Carpenter in bespoke joinery manufacturing
*
Strong understanding of both traditional and modern joinery techniques
*
Competence with hand tools and power tools
*
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
*
A solid awareness of Health & Safety practices
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
