As a Service Delivery Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service. Role Overview: The Service Delivery Manager will lead the daily operations of the office and collection drivers, ensuring tasks are completed in line with health and safety policies and profitability objectives. Working closely with the Service Leadership team, you'll strive to deliver a best-in-class service to our valued customers. Main Tasks and Activities: Prioritise work schedules for optimal efficiency. Oversee driver activities, ensuring compliance with road traffic legislation. Utilise Power BI reports for standards management. Conduct driver appraisals and assist in new driver inductions. Optimise overtime and adherence to start times. Address customer inquiries and investigate missed collections promptly. Log and resolve customer complaints using CRM. Conduct daily route debriefs and address issues promptly. Arrange site surveys for accidents or near misses. Ensure drivers perform pre and post-shift vehicle checks. Accurately record customer weights and investigate weighing defects. Sign off new contracts, ensuring feasibility and location compatibility. Manage customer billing for extra waste collection. Keep the Depot Customer Hotlist updated and communicate service issues. Perform other reasonable tasks as required. Skills and Experience: Strong leadership and customer service skills. Extensive knowledge of the waste industry. Proficiency in Microsoft applications. Understanding of Tachograph legislation. Valid driving license. Personal Profile: Tenacious, resilient, and flexible. Diligent team player with leadership capabilities.
