Business Development Representative

£30,000 to £35,000 basic DOE + uncapped commission

A leading interior design and workspace solutions company is expanding its commercial team and is recruiting a driven Business Development Representative. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow within a design‑led, consultative sales environment, with a clear pathway into an Account Manager role that includes face‑to‑face client meetings and on‑site office visits.
In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, engage senior stakeholders and introduce tailored workspace solutions that elevate client environments. You will collaborate closely with internal design and project teams to ensure each proposal aligns with client needs and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop new business pipelines across targeted sectors
* Lead confident, strategic conversations with decision makers
* Understand client requirements and position suitable design solutions
* Maintain accurate activity records and support the full sales process
* Build relationships that convert into long-term partnerships
Person Profile
* Confident communicator able to engage clients at all levels
* Comfortable driving high-value, consultative conversations
* Motivated by progression and future client-facing responsibility
* Organised, proactive and commercially aware
* Keen to develop within a creative yet commercially focused industry
