Responsibilities
* Assist clients in selecting eyewear that suits their prescription needs, style preferences, and lifestyle.
* Accurately fit and adjust spectacles and contact lenses for maximum comfort and vision correction.
* Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame materials, ensuring the best solutions for each client.
* Maintain an organized and efficient inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical products.
* Collaborate with optometrists to interpret prescriptions and make tailored recommendations or adjustments.
* Educate clients on proper care and maintenance of their eyewear.
* Stay updated on industry trends, fashion, and advancements in eyewear technology to provide cutting-edge recommendations.
* Lead and mentor team members, fostering a supportive and professional work environment.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Requirements
* Proven managerial experience in optical care or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
* A passion for delivering outstanding patient care and building long-term relationships with clients.
* Strong knowledge of eye anatomy, vision correction methods, and lens fabrication processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities for managing inventory and client records.
* A valid qualification in optometry or optical dispensing is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with the latest trends in eyewear and optical technology.
