The role operates in a fast-paced hospitality environment and reports to the Sales & Events Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesSalesProactively source and secure new meetings and events businessGrow and manage allocated key accountsAchieve monthly sales targets and KPIsManage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contractingPrepare proposals, contracts, invoices, and follow up on paymentsAttend networking and trade events when requiredMaintain accurate records using Salesforce/DelphiEvent ManagementDeliver events from enquiry to completion and post-event follow upLiaise with internal departments to ensure seamless deliveryManage diaries, event briefs, BEOs, deposits, and billingSupport the wider sales team with event administrationIdeal CandidateExperience in hospitality sales or events (venue, hotel, or agency)Commercially aware, proactive, and results drivenStrong communication, organisation, and planning skillsComfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environmentCustomer-focused with strong attention to detailConfident using Microsoft Office (Delphi desirable)Experience in a proactive sales roleFlexible to work 5 days over 7Full, clean driving licence and ability to travel between venuesHere\'s an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 daysAs part of Compass you\'ll help to feed people, fuel progress and forge connections in around 6,000 venues.
