As a CARE Professional at Shoreham, Petts Wood & Longfield, you will travel to the house of clients and provide a range of care services to enable them to continue to live independently in their own homes. At HI, we provide non-medical services (personal care, house-help, and companionship services) and are looking for someone with flexible working hours to join our team. We seek kind, compassionate individuals who want to make a real difference in our clients' quality of life. Requirements include weekend availability and a full UK driving license. Responsibilities may include:
Morning routines support, including personal care such as bathing
Evening routines before bedtime
Assisting with jobs around the home
Cooking meals
Shopping or attending appointments
Taking clients to day care centres or church
Encouraging interests and hobbies
Providing companionship
Qualifications
No experience or specific qualifications are required to become a CARE Professional. Experience in a care setting or with older adults is beneficial, such as:
Personal experience caring for a family member or voluntary work
Passion for supporting others and delivering outstanding service
Reliability, trustworthiness, and respectfulness
Enjoyment in building professional relationships and spending time with others
