Facilities Management Consultant Location: 1-2 days a week in Leicester + consultancy visits elsewhere My client is an innovative and highly regarded FM and Health & Safety consultancy. They are looking for an experienced Facilities Management Consultant to join their growing team. This role is focused on delivering high-level FM and M&E strategic support and operational excellence for the UK operations of a leading global security provider. You will act as a subject matter expert, leveraging your background in supply chain management in order to optimise service delivery. Tender & Procurement Management: Help lead end-to-end procurement processes for essential services, including catering, cleaning, postroom and document services. Supplier Performance & Strategy: Monitor and measure service partner performance against benchmarked criteria and KPIs to ensure all SLAs are met or exceeded. Identify opportunities for sustainable savings and provide financial oversight to deliver measurable value across multiple FM categories. Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure statutory compliance and manage Health & Safety obligations, including the supervision of contractor risk assessments. Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience within a facilities management or consultancy environment. Financial Acumen: Safety Standards: An IOSH or NEBOSH certificate is highly desirable for both this client and other clients to whom you will be providing consultancy services. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Bachelor s degree or an equivalent combination of professional skills and training. Mobility: Your own car and a valid driving license is essential for site visits. Location & Travel This role primarily supports a key client with principal offices and manufacturing premises in the East Midlands, as well as facilities in Manchester and Glasgow. Other clients that you are likely to support will tend to be within the Southeast of England. Rest of week working with other clients/WFH. Flexibility: The remainder of your time will be spent working from home or consulting with other clients. Travel Support: While your own car and driving license is required for local site access, rail or air travel will be provided for longer-distance journeys.All business-related travel and associated expenses are covered.
