Duties/Responsibilities:Diesel Mechanic
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
* Diagnose and repair issues with brakes, tires, transmission, steering, and other systems
* Perform preventative maintenance
* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
* Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services
* Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in the shop or field
* Other tasks as needed
Requirements and QualificationsDiesel Mechanic
* Valid driver's license (CDL strongly )
* Must be able to read and speak English fluently
* Experience with Class 8 truck maintenance (at least 1 year )
* Must possess personal set of basic hand tools
* Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
* Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job
* Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
