We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager within our Special Projects division, managing remediation works on legacy projects across the Group from our Brentwood offices.
The Technical Manager role combines technical expertise with project management, offering valuable experience, on-the-job training, and career progression within the company.

Candidate requirements:

* Professional qualification (e.g., ONC/HNC, NVQ in Construction)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the built environment
* Knowledge of building regulations, CDM Regulations, and Health & Safety
* Coordinate project teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
* Manage technical and design processes from site investigation to practical completion
* Provide technical advice on project feasibility, constraints, budgets, and phasing
* Monitor development fees, utility costs, and cash flows
Role specifics:
* Lead technical aspects from bid to project completion
* Deliver technical duties across all project stages
* Provide post-completion support
* Act as client liaison and construction team coordinator
* Manage infrastructure planning, including services and landscaping
* Coordinate with stakeholders, including external consultants and contractors
* Review drawings, inspection reports, and assess building heights
* Collaborate with fire engineers on external wall and fire stopping works
