Climate Insulation Limited was incorporated in April 2009 in Manchester, United Kingdom. We are authorised installers of multiple home improvement and energy conservation measures. Our mission is to help contribute to the government's initiative to make UK carbon neutral by 2050.
We are also "PAS 2030:2023 and PAS 2035:2023" certified and registered with TrustMark, Quality Mark (GDGC), NICEIC, KIWA, Gas Safe, EWI PRO, SWIP, ICO and many more.
We are looking to fill IWI Insulation installer positions for an immediate start. We are working in most areas of North West of England, Greater London and Midlands. However, we are looking for more people to join us who are local to Manchester, Cheadle and Stockport.
The ideal candidate will have an NVQ qualification, working experience in Internal Wall Insulation. This job requires working in dusty environment, working at heights and in confined spaces. Also will need to handle power tools to carry out drilling, cutting and grinding of building fabric elements.
An Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) specialist is responsible for installing and maintaining internal wall insulation systems to improve the energy efficiency and thermal performance of buildings. This role involves working on various construction projects, including residential properties, to enhance their insulation and reduce energy consumption.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare internal walls for insulation, including surface checks and minor repairs.
* Install the IWI system as per the manufacturer's specification and following designs provided.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely, cleanly, and to a high standard.
* Work effectively with other tradespeople and site managers.
* Follow health & safety and environmental regulations,
* Take photos as required under scheme and complete any relevant paperwork.
Requirements:
* Experience of Internal Wall Insulation and knowledge of current requirements.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Insulation and building treatments, Internal Wall Insulation.
* Basic knowledge of other building trades like plastering, plumbing, electrics etc.
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings/specifications.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
