Qualifications and Experience Required
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
*
Experience teaching across key stages, ideally including GCSE and A-Level
*
Strong subject knowledge and commitment to continuous professional development
*
Ability to engage and challenge all learners, including SEN, high-ability, and EAL students
Key Responsibilities
*
Teach Mathematics across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level and monitor student progress and attainment
*
Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners and make curriculum content relevant and engaging
*
Deliver timely feedback, set homework, and run booster or enrichment sessions
*
Support curriculum planning and develop the extra-curricular offering for Maths
*
Promote reading in Maths and encourage students to take Maths at GCSE and A-Level
*
Embed SMSC, PSHE, diversity, and inclusion strategies in your teaching
*
Serve as a form tutor, fostering strong relationships with students and parents
*
Maintain a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment
*
Participate in school life including supervisory duties, lunch duties, and enrichment activities
