Learn PLC programming and automation skills Maintenance Engineer – The Opportunity A leading global manufacturer is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for either an electrically biased, multi-skilled, or mechanically biased engineer looking to develop their skills within a highly automated manufacturing environment. You'll be working on a range of production and automation equipment while receiving industry-leading training and long-term career development opportunities. Key Responsibilities Attend equipment breakdowns and minimise downtime Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Maintain conveyors, presses, robotics, automated machinery and production equipment Fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems Work on three-phase electrical systems and industrial controls Support continuous improvement and reliability projects Maintain high health and safety standards Work closely with a large engineering team to support production targets Requirements Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent Maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing, production, FMCG, automotive, packaging, processing or automated environments Electrical fault-finding experience preferred Mechanical maintenance skills Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery would be advantageous Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach Apply Now If you're a Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Shift Engineer or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure role with excellent benefits, training and career progression, we'd love to hear from you.
