They are currently searching for a new Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their team to continue providing the best possible service to their customers. They are looking for an engineer to cover Aberdeen and surrounding areas with bi-weekly trips to Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh.Ideal candidate locations could include: Aberdeen, Dufftown, Grantown-on-Spey, Aviemore, Banchory, Westhill or surrounding areas.Other job titles could include: Facilities Maintenance Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Maintenance Assistant, Mobile Plumber, Mobile FM Engineer, Building Services Engineer or Mobile Handyperson.The Role: Facilities Maintenance Assistant:To assist the maintenance team in ensuring that services and facilities within the site operate effectively, efficiently and safelyTo assist the maintenance team in the preparation, implementation and monitoring of weekly, monthly and annual planned preventative maintenance schedules Day-to-day decisions to ensure that services and facilities within the site operate effectively, efficiently and safelyCarrying out general repairs on anything from leaky pipes and taps to fixing doors and hingesBasic electrical fault finding e.g. changing plug sockets, isolating faults or wiring a fuseEnsure that resources are used efficientlyEnsure standards of work are maintained and tasks are completed within the given timescaleExperience Required - Facilities Maintenance Assistant:Has a minimum of 2 years of Facilities Maintenance Experience such as site repairs, and site labouring including plumbing repairs, basic electrical fault-finding, fabric repairs and carpentry tasks.Holds a plumbing qualification or has equivalent practical hands-on experience repairing or fault finding on plumbing appliances.Able to work weekends as part of the on-call rota 1 week in 3Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a teamGood communication skillsWillingness to take any further appropriate trainingHighly motivatedFull clean driving licencePackage Details - Facilities Maintenance Engineer:Up to £14 per hour pay rate45 hours working week Monday - Friday with 1 hr lunch breakTravel time included1.5x OTAdditional £200 on-call payment 1 week in 3Company van and Fuel card28 Days Holiday (inclusive of Statutory Bank Holidays)Company Pension SchemeOpportunities to obtain further training/qualificationsInterested?
