Job Purpose
Provide first-line IT support and technical assistance to Banijay Rights staff in the London office and across international offices. This role ensures the smooth running of hardware, software, and systems, delivering prompt and professional support to all users.
Responsibilities:
* Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues.
* Triage and manage IT Helpdesk tickets, escalating to senior team members where appropriate.
* Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licences, and related documentation.
* Set up and configure laptops, workstations, and other IT equipment.
* Conduct routine maintenance, including patch management and security updates.
* Perform regular audits of IT hardware and software.
* Configure and support additional hardware such as smartphones, iPads, and printers.
* Manage stock levels of equipment, consumables, and supplies.
* Administer user accounts (starters, leavers, permission changes) across Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, and other systems.
* Deliver onboarding sessions and basic IT training for new starters.
* Support remote access solutions (remote desktop, remote editing, etc.).
* Undertake other IT-related duties as required to support the wider department.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT support or similar technical role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a user-focused, approachable manner.
* Confidence working with users at all levels, both in person and remotely (phone, Teams, etc.).
* Good organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks and follow instructions effectively.
* Eagerness to learn and develop new technical skills through training and experience.
* Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Exchange administration is desirable.
Reporting
Reporting to the Head of IT or their nominated replacement.
You will work closely with the Information Security manager who will oversee day to day priorities and workload management.
