An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, energetic and hands on manager, with a demonstrable background in general maintenance to join our team.
Competitive Salary £32k - £35k pa + a share of monthly service charge
What We Are Looking For:
Our Maintenance Manager is always working on behalf of our guests and other team members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
Demonstratable knowledge of building management/engineering/general maintenance
Positive and proactive attitude
Good communication skills
Be a team player committed to delivering a high level of customer service
Leadership skills and previous experience of managing a small team and external contractors
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work on their own
Have a solid understanding of general H&S obligations and statutory regulations
Be comfortable to perform daily checks around the hotel and grounds
Be capable of undertaking basic repairs and maintenance
Ideally have some previous experience with pool equipment / pool plant
Be computer literate, outlook, MS Office, along with online systems e.g. H&S, training etc
Hold a current driving licence
Schedule:
8 hour day shifts over 5 days
Weekend availability
