The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a proactive and technically proficient Capital Project Manager to lead the delivery of estates and infrastructure projects across the healthcare estate.
You’ll oversee projects from initial feasibility through to completion, coordinating internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and timely outcomes.
This is a hands-on role that demands strong project management capabilities, effective stakeholder engagement, and a solution-oriented mindset. You’ll be part of a supportive team driving real improvements across the built environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead capital projects from design through to handover
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building standards, and NHS guidelines
* Manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation
* Oversee procurement processes and contractor performance
* Engage with internal stakeholders and external partners
* Champion equality, diversity, and continuous improvement
* Support the professional development of the project team
About You:
* Hold a relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or electrical disciplines
* Possess health and safety training applicable to estates or construction projects
* Have experience managing complex projects within healthcare or regulated environments
* Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of compliance, regulations, and project planning
* Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Chartered status or professional membership is desirable
