Superflex Roadside Vehicle Technician Required in Oldham/Bury
1. Basic Salary: £48,720 per annum
2. On-Target Earnings: £50,000 – £54,000 per annum
3. Working Hours: Equivalent of 40 hours per week, with flexible shifts scheduled between 6am and 2am
4. Standard Roadside position also available
Our client, the UK's leading breakdown service provider, is seeking a skilled and dedicated and flexible Roadside Mechanic to join their growing Roadside Patrol team. As a valued member of the team, you’ll provide essential roadside support, delivering high-quality service to members across the country. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you’ll handle breakdowns, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide expert assistance.
Key Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician:
5. Attend breakdowns and roadside call-outs to diagnose faults and carry out minor repairs
6. Provide high-quality customer service and technical support to motorists in distress
7. Accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate action or recovery
8. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical problems
9. Maintain communication with the central support team and update job statuses
10. Flexibility to travel, with occasional overnight stays depending on rota
11. Work within varied shift patterns including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
12. Represent the business professionally and uphold high service standards at all times
What We’re Looking For in a Roadside Technician:
13. Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent)
14. Strong technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
15. Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
16. Full UK driving licence
17. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required
