Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal – IVC Evidensia UK

Salary: up to £44,000 DOE
Roles & Responsibilities
* Consultations, surgery, dentistry, ultrasound and radiography on a rota across four consult rooms.
* Manage a diverse caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries, exotics and occasional chickens.
* Support consult‑only branch and act as sole‑charge when appropriate.
* Participate in imaging, lab, and X‑ray suites providing comprehensive in‑house care.
* Collaborate with a team of 11 vets, RVNs, SVNs and client‑care staff.
Working Pattern
10‑month fixed‑term contract, 28 hours per week, primarily Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (8:30 am–8 pm). Includes 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9 am–1 pm) to maintain work‑life balance.
Team & Facilities
Large practice with dedicated lab, two theatres, X‑ray suite, and separate cat and dog wards. Digital and dental X‑ray, ultrasound, laparoscopic, endoscopic equipment, and anaesthesia areas included.
