The Guillemot Café kitchen team are looking for a new recruit
We are looking for someone passionate about providing perfect dishes, with a fantastic eye for detail and presentation, enjoys working in a busy and bustling environment among a small team with great banter to keep the shifts flowing
A desirable shift pattern for any chef, our kitchen opening hours are;
Monday - Friday 9:00 - 15:00
Saturday & Sunday 9:00 - 16:00
Our final candidate will work a classic 5 day week, including weekends.

Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation and presentation
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
