Teaching Assistant – Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
Grade 3 Scale point 3-4 pro rata (FTE – £25,185)
Term Time - Temporary Contract to 31st July 2026
Up to 30 hours per week over five days

The governors at Hayes Meadow Primary School are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant with experience of working across the primary age range.
Responsibilities:
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Communicate effectively, have a positive attitude and be able to work successfully as part of a team within the school.
* Be calm, positive and able to use own initiative while working within school policies and under the guidance of line manager and other experienced / senior staff.
* Have experience of working across the primary age range and have relevant knowledge of the curriculum.
* Be able to plan and deliver intervention where required for pupils.
* Understand the needs of or have experience working with children with SEND.
* Be able to communicate effectively and positively with parents/ carers.
