Position: Renewables Business Development Manager
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum DOE + Company Vehicle
Hours: 40 / week MON-FRI 08:30-17:00

Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, is looking for a field-based Renewables Business Development Manager to join our Contracts and Renewables team, with some travel to our Central Support offices in Fareham, Hampshire.

We are expanding our renewables portfolio and seek an experienced, influential, and creative individual to help develop our team and customer base. You will be a key resource for providing expert advice on renewables, enhancing colleagues' knowledge, and strengthening relationships with suppliers and senior stakeholders.


Responsibilities include:

* Acting as the subject matter expert on technological, political, environmental, and legal factors regarding renewable products in the UK market.
* Creating training materials and programs to educate colleagues about renewables.
* Collaborating with internal teams to identify product gaps and opportunities for growth.
* Supporting customers and branch teams with quotes and project support.
* Assisting senior stakeholders in shaping renewables strategy.


Essential Qualifications and Skills:

* Expertise in sales of Air Source Heat Pumps, renewables, and low-carbon products, with strong technical knowledge.
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar renewables business development role.
* Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills.
* Experience in developing and delivering in-house training programs.
