HR Manager - Manufacturing - Cookstown
Are you an HR Officer looking for the next step in your career? MCS Group is excited to be working with a growing manufacturing company, recruiting for an HR Manager to join their dynamic team.
Overview: As HR Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out all HR functions, aligning with wider business goals and strategies. In this standalone role, you will have the opportunity to improve company performance and employee experience through HR processes.
Main responsibilities:
1. Take ownership of core HR administration, including onboarding, exit procedures, document management, and updating employee information on the HRIS. Respond promptly and professionally to related queries.
2. Drive end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing candidates and conducting interviews to extending offers.
3. Manage graduate and apprenticeship schemes, collaborating with academic institutions to attract emerging talent.
4. Partner with leadership on talent strategy, shaping performance review frameworks, feedback cycles, and initiatives to enhance staff development and retention.
5. Manage Learning & Development programs, planning and delivering training aligned with business goals, coordinating with internal and external providers.
6. Provide support in employee relations, including managing absence, resolving grievances, and advising teams on HR policies and compliance.
7. Support employee engagement and wellbeing, contributing to CSR efforts and internal initiatives to foster a strong organizational culture.
8. Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic HR initiatives, implementing projects that align HR practices with company objectives and improve operations.
9. Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, recommending recruitment or internal development solutions for long-term planning.
Ideal candidate:
* Proven experience in a similar role within a relevant industry
* CIPD certification or working towards it
* Degree in HR Management or related field (advantageous)
* Competent in using HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
