Job Title: Plumber / Heating Engineer
Location: North West Based
Occasional travel further afield, including some weekends and overnight stays.
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary & Benefits: £18 - £24 per hour (DOE)
Company van provided after probation (immediately for senior Pipefitter). Must have own tools.
Start Date: ASAP (Between 11th - 21st)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage small-scale mechanical projects, particularly plant room installations.
Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
Carry out pipefitting using various methods: screwed, welded, and press-fit.
Oversee and support team members (typically working in teams of 3).
Ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with health and safety regulations.
✅ Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in plumbing and heating engineering, especially in plant room environments.
Ability to run small projects independently.
Strong skills in pipefitting and mechanical installations.
Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Qualifications:
SMSTS or SSSTS certification (prefferred).
Relevant trade qualifications and certifications.
