My client, a leading Hedge Fund, are looking for a commercial lawyer to join them on short term contract basis. As a part of an impressive legal team, you will be working with the firms new portfolios on a range of commercial agreements, technology agreements. Responsibilities include:
Contract Drafting and Negotiation
* Investment Agreements: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating investment management agreements, side letters, subscription agreements, and other investment-related contracts.
* Vendor Contracts: Handling contracts with service providers, including IT, custodial, brokerage, and research services.
* Partnership Agreements: Managing agreements with strategic partners and co-investors.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the hedge fund complies with applicable laws and regulations, including SEC regulations, GDPR, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.
* IP Management: Protecting and managing the hedge fund's intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
* IP Licensing: Drafting and negotiating intellectual property licenses and other related agreements.
* Contract Management: Maintaining an organized system for contract documentation and tracking key contractual obligations and deadlines.
