We're looking for a Support Services Manager to lead that function in Leicester. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll manage day-to-day operations, develop your team, own supplier relationships and play an active part in how we integrate and scale, — including supporting acquisition activity as we continue to grow. What you'll be doing: leading daily operations: — morning briefings, task allocation, post handling and team priorities holding regular 1-1s, reviews and performance conversations that genuinely help people grow designing and implementing training plans and building a team culture known for progression managing key supplier relationships and contracts, including Royal Mail and franking agreements supporting merger integration: — facilitating planning discussions and ensuring acquired businesses are onboarded smoothly spotting inefficiencies and leading improvement initiatives from start to finish What we're looking for: proven people management experience: — you coach, develop and hold your team to high standards strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm when priorities compete clear, credible communication at all levels – with your team, senior stakeholders and external partners a proactive, solutions-focused approach; — you don't wait to be asked the resilience to handle escalations and make sound decisions independently experience in a service environment; financial services is a bonus Why this role?
