Are you a skilled driver with a passion for cars and delivering exceptional customer service? Steer Automotive Group, a leading company in the automotive repair industry, is looking for a Valetor/ Driver to join our team at our sites in Ayr.

About the Role:
As a Valetor/ Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer vehicles are well-maintained and delivered safely. Your responsibilities will include:
Driver Duties :
* Collecting vehicles from customers and transporting them to our repair site.
* Delivering repaired vehicles back to customers promptly and safely.
* Providing excellent customer service throughout the entire process.
* Ensuring legal compliance under the Road Traffic Act.
* Supporting other sites when needed to cover absences.
Valeting Duties :
* Washing, polishing, and vacuuming vehicles to ensure they are in pristine condition for customer handovers.
* Detailing vehicles with close attention to quality standards.
* Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and tire pressures.
* Managing cleaning supplies and stock, reporting any shortages.
About You:
To excel in this role, you should have:
* Driving Experience : Prior experience in a commercial driving role, ideally as a vehicle recovery driver.
* Valeting Experience : Experience in a valeting or vehicle preparation role is preferred but not essential.
* Attention to Detail : A keen eye for detail to ensure vehicles meet high standards.
* Customer Service Skills : A friendly and professional approach to working with customers.
* Organisational Skills : The ability to manage your time effectively and adapt to changing tasks.
* Team Player : A collaborative attitude, with the ability to work independently when required.
* Flexibility : Willingness to support other sites and adapt to different work priorities.
* Driving Licence : A valid, clean UK driving licence and be over 21 (due to insurance requirements).
