We are looking for a work experience placement administrator to join us on our journey to develop lasting relationships with local employers. The role focuses on coordinating the administration behind setting up placement opportunities for our work placement students, supporting employers with any recruitment processes, ensuring processes for compliance and H&S are followed, liaising with teaching staff and most importantly working with our students to ensure suitable placements are organised, monitored and reviewed. PTS has been developing and building work placement opportunities for over 20 years and the key to our success is our desire and ability to work in partnership with employers. The role will provide administration and compliance support to our Work Placement Officer tasked with building employer engagement. This role provides the opportunity to work with and support our students with securing their work placements and ongoing personal and professional development. We are looking for someone who has a full driving licence and access to their own vehicle, who enjoys the challenge of working on diverse tasks, has excellent communication skills and who always provides exceptional customer service. You need to be skilled at managing data, updating systems to ensure we are compliant with regards to Health & Safety and have excellent administration skills. Working in a team, you will need to build strong working relationships, liaise with the Work Placement Officer and Learner Support Officers. Knowledge of the local and regional labour market is an advantage, but personality, drive and commitment are most important, alongside a passion for supporting young people to develop and fulfil their potential. You will report to our Work Experience Officer and work alongside several key staff to ensure our students have the best experience out on work placement which you will coordinate all administration for. Person Specification Essential Criteria: * Level 2 (or above) in maths and English qualifications. * Full driving licence and own vehicle and ability to obtain business insurance. * Undertake an enhanced DBS check which PTS will pay for. * Excellent organisational and administrative skills. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. * Strong ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and online learning platforms. * A good self-starter. Able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Ability to work flexibly and respond to rapidly changing requirements. * Excellent customer service skills and reputational awareness * Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage workload effectively * Understanding of additional learning needs and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly Desirable Criteria: * Committed to developing employability skills in young people * Experience of working with 16 – 19-year-olds in an educational or related context * Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
