Job Description We are looking for an Estimator to join our busy team in Bury St. Edmunds, who will be primarily responsible for producing quotations, providing advice on product selection and building good relationships with our customers and suppliers. Experience in a fast-paced environment and a proactive attitude is required. Responsibilities Include: * To provide a high level of customer service via phone and email, including product and technical knowledge * To multi-task and be able to prioritise high workloads with a good level of accuracy, ensuring deadlines are met * To interpret and convert customer enquiries and specifications into accurate quotations in an efficient manner, in accordance with current policies * Working together with our Account Managers to assist with the successful conversion of our quotations into orders and maximise company profit * To obtain and negotiate the best contract pricing from our suppliers * To provide information to supplement our quotations, such as moodboards and datasheets * To handle customer complaints in a fair and reasonable manner, resolving problems quickly and satisfactorily for all parties concerned * In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, with appropriate training provided. Qualities Needed: * Experience of Estimating & Customer Service desirable * Experience within the bathroom industry desirable * Team player, but equally able to work independently * Excellent telephone manner and communicative skills * Organised and good attention to detail * PC literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office * Able to work well under pressure * Confident and able to use own initiative when needed
