Job Description
Senior Care Assistant (Night shift) at Lady Jane Court Care Home, Leicester. Provide high‑quality personal care and support to residents. Responsibilities include monitoring wellbeing, implementing and evaluating care plans, supporting medication management, supervising and developing care staff, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and health professionals.
Responsibilities
* Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans and written records accordingly.
* Contribute to the person‑centred care planning process and conduct monthly evaluations.
* Assist residents with their medication requirements.
* Perform staff supervision and support staff development as required.
* Serve as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
* Minimum 2 years' experience working in a comparable care environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Positive, caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable attitude.
* Responsiveness and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
Additional Requirements
* DBS Disclosure check – cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
