Maintenance Electrician
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am-16:00pm and Friday 7:30am-15:00pm Salary: £48,961 Location: Littleborough, Oldham, Rochdale
Were looking for a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Electrician to join a multi-site engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice-trained electrician with strong maintenance and installation experience. As a maintenance electrician you will be supporting production and driving improvements, working day shifts with occasional callout and overtime.

Responsibilities:
Responding to issues and breakdowns to minimise downtime
Carrying out routine testing and inspections of electrical systems and portable equipment
Using preventative maintenance systems to reduce unplanned breakdowns
Assisting the Engineering Manager with ongoing and new projects
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes
Maintaining safe working practices in line with Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
Previous maintenance electrician experience
Strong knowledge of AC and DC drives
Ability to work on PLC systems preferred
Willingness to cover overtime, shutdown work, and call-outs when required
Some mechanical experience would be beneficial
