Lincoln Cornhill is currently working with a reputable housing provider in London to source an interim Head of Asset Management on an initial four month contract. The position is due to start immediately and looking to pay around £500 - £600 a day outside IR35.
The range of function which are covered include:
* Responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Asset Management Service, including the delivery of a planned programme of cyclical and major works, and the provision of a day-to-day responsive repairs service.
* Responsible for the delivery of the organisations Asset Management Strategy.
* Responsible for the delivery of disrepair case management from claim through to works delivery and settlements, managing reputational risk for the organisation.
* Responsible for the provision of effective damp and mould case management.
* Creating a service environment that places the delivery of excellent services to customers developing and maintaining a skilled, well-trained, and motivated workforce.
* Ensure a culture of continuous review and improvement is embedded within the service, so that ‘traditional thinking’ is challenged, others are empowered, and innovation is pursued with a focus on our customers.
* Possess the technical ability to provide contractual-related professional and strategic advice to stakeholders.
* Provide or co-ordinate professional management advice on property requirements to include construction management, surveying, engineering, building safety, and compliance-related activities.
* Be an active part of the organisation’s Management Team, driving the organisation’s Corporate Strategy
Experience and skills required:
* Relevant building qualification or membership of a professional body (RICS, GB, IOSH)
* Extensive experience in leading the provision of property and asset management in a comparable organisation
* Experience of managing building and M&E contractors
* Managing and delivering on target repairs and maintenance budgets
