Overview
Cora Health is looking for an Advanced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Clinician to join the Northumberland Joint Musculoskeletal and Pain Service (JMAPS). The JMAPS service is delivered in partnership between Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Cora Health. The role focuses on high-quality, patient-centred MSK care within a large multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
* Undertake comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs.
* Formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes; ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge.
* Work closely with patients to develop personalised treatment plans and provide preventative care and education.
* Contribute to service delivery within the MSK pathway, applying evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a relevant Physiotherapist degree or Masters qualification.
* Experience of working at clinical level 7 and be able to demonstrate this from MSK competencies at application.
* A senior physiotherapist or FCP looking for an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist role.
* Previous experience in delivering musculoskeletal services with tangible results and commitment to excellent, personalised care.
* Deep understanding of the impact of musculoskeletal pain in the wider community and how collaborative working across the local system enables prevention and addresses health inequalities.
* Current valid registration with your relevant professional body or equivalent regulator (HCPC).
* Educational acuity in developing and providing specialist teaching in Musculoskeletal care.
* Strong desire and drive to deliver innovation and lead on change.
* Experience of developing team members; a passion for treating people holistically, integrating with other services and addressing health inequalities.
